Electronic information science and technology is an undergraduate program that is formed in the interdisciplinary fields of electronics, communication, computer, artificial intelligence and etc. It is one of the ten special majors in the electronic information category of the undergraduate majors approved by the Ministry of Education. The students will take the courses including the advanced mathematics, college physics, theoretical physics, electronic techniques, computer science, signal processing, artificial intelligence technologies and etc., which enable them to understand the fundamental theories and techniques in the electronic information fields. After graduation, the students will be able to engage in the work of scientific research, technology development and management in the fields of electronics, communications, computers and artificial intelligence. Aspiring students can continue to pursue master and doctoral degrees in the related disciplines such as electronic engineering, information and communication engineering, and computer science and technology.
The undergraduate study of this program takes usually four years. After completing all the courses, the student will be awarded a bachelor degree in engineering.
